UPDATE: Three Different Hospitals' Pregnancy Tests Came Back Negative - Police

Despite claims that she was pregnant around the time she was reportedly kidnapped, Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah’s pregnancy tests in three different hospitals came back negative, according to the Ghana Police Service.

Axim Government Hospital, Takoradi Hospital, and Effia Nkwanta Government Hospital all performed the tests. Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah was taken under police protection from the Axim Government Hospital to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in the Western Region capital.Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah’s relatives and loved ones have passionately opposed the Western Regional Minister’s comments on Kumasi-based Kessben FM, in which he claimed the victim was not pregnant when she went missing.The Ghana Police Service has now named Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah as a suspect in the case. Police suspect she may have collaborated with others over the possible planned disappearance, according to a statement made on September 23.

Mr. Michael Simmons, her husband, and her mother were reportedly arrested on the same day to aid investigators.
